Deafroots is recently awarded with Heritage Lottery Funding to deliver a 16 months project on ‘Heritage of Deaf People’s Changing Employment Experiences (2000-2010) caused by the DDA 2005’

As part of this project, we are recruiting for the following three positions

Project Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to head up this project. If you have excellent leadership skills and are interested in heritage, research and deposition of oral history, then we would love to hear from you

Administrator/Outreach Worker

Do you have great organisational and communication skills? Do you feel a sense of achievement in helping others? Do you believe in continuous development by learning new things? Then you are in the right place

Communication support worker

Do you like to work with a diverse range of people? If you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in supporting deaf people with BSL and are interested in working on a creative project, then we would like to hear from you
